Dr. Gustavo Perdomo attended the Javeriana University Dental School in Bogota, Colombia where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1981.

After completing one year of private practice in Caracas, Venezuela, he entered the two year program in prosthodontics at Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine in 1983, receiving a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in Prosthodontics (CAGS) in 1985. Following graduation, Dr. Perdomo returned to Colombia and opened a private specialty practice in Bogota and taught at two local dental schools; The Javeriana University and The Colombian Dental School as an Assistant Clinical Professor.

In 1999, Dr. Perdomo received his D.M.D. degree from Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine and assumed the position of Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Restorative Sciences and Biomaterials.

His duties as a Clinical Professor included preclinical laboratory activities for Prosthodontics and Implantology residents, intramural patient care and supervision of residents. From 2003 to 2008, Dr. Perdomo worked at Advanced Dental Technology, Inc., in Stoneham, Massachusetts as a Prosthodontics Clinical Dental Lab Consultant where he provided clinical and technical support to ADT and clinicians in their offices. In 2007, he worked with Dr. Stefan Neeser as an Associate Prosthodontist in his Prosthodontics Specialty Practice in Wayland, Massachusetts.

Dr. Gustavo Perdomo also worked as a Prosthodontist in his own Practice at GP Dental Care in Weymouth, MA and in a General Practice in Braintree, Lawrence and Chelmsford, MA from 2008 to June 2011. Dr. Perdomo works now, as an Associate Prosthodontist and Reconstructive Dentist in a Multispecialty Group Practice located in Boston, MA.

Dr. Perdomo is an active member of the following dental associations: American Academy of Implant Dentistry, International College of Prosthodontists, American Dental Association, Massachusetts Dental Society (including both Middlesex and South Shore districts) American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, American College of Prosthodontists, ITI Straumann US Harvard Study Club, Cambridge, MA., The Restorative Dental Study Club of Cambridge, MA., Periodontal Associates Implant Study Club, Framingham, MA and The Metropolitan District Dental Society at the MDS, MA. Dr. Perdomo also attends numerous 'CE' Courses every year worldwide.

In his spare time Dr. Perdomo devotes his time and talents to his lovely wife Dr. Claudia Lievano and their children, Maria Paula, Natalia, Juan Andres and Catalina Perdomo. He and his family reside in Newton, Massachusetts.
